1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AURAGO (accessible via urago.in, referred to as "AURAGO", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the AURAGO platform, website (https://urago.in), and mobile applications for riders and Captains.

AURAGO is a proudly Bharat-born transport aggregation platform founded by Prantosh Mohan Das, headquartered in Silchar, Assam, under the mission "India's Own Cab - Barak Se Bharat Tak". By registering, accessing, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use our services.

2. The AURAGO Platform & Services

AURAGO operates an on-demand technology platform connecting passengers seeking transportation or parcel delivery with independent commercial third-party drivers ("Captains"). AURAGO provides digital matching and routing software with a driver-friendly, zero-commission SaaS model where Captains keep 90% of the fare. All rides and parcel shipments are performed by independent licensed Captains.

3. User Account & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an account on the AURAGO platform.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration and to keep such information updated.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.

4. Pricing, Fares & Payments

• Fare Transparency: Fares are computed transparently based on trip distance, duration, and vehicle category (City Cabs, Auto & E-Rickshaws, Airport, Outstation, and Logistics). There is no surge pricing even during festival seasons (Puja, Eid, etc.).
• Payment Options: Payments may be made via in-app digital payment methods (UPI, debit/credit card, net banking), AURAGO Wallet, or direct cash to Captains.
• Captains' Welfare: AURAGO operates a fair SaaS model charging only a minimal software usage fee so Captains retain 90% of their earnings, resulting in reliable service and zero cancellations.

5. Captain Requirements & Document Verification

Captains must maintain valid commercial driving licenses, vehicle registrations (RC), valid commercial third-party insurance, fitness certificates, and pollution control clearances (PUC). Captain accounts are subject to administrative review and approval before rides can be accepted.

6. Safety, Code of Conduct & Prohibited Behavior

Users and Captains agree to treat each other with courtesy and mutual respect. Prohibited behaviors include:

• Harassment, abusive language, physical violence, or discrimination of any kind.
• Transporting illegal substances, unauthorized weapons, or hazardous materials.
• Attempting to manipulate the platform, falsify GPS records, or conduct off-platform payment evasion.

7. Account Termination & Deletion

You may request permanent deletion of your account and erasure of your personal data at any time directly through the app settings or via our web portal at https://urago.in/delete-account. AURAGO reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Silchar, Cachar District, Assam / Gauhati High Court.
